Each Wine Country Garden Walk is designed to be of
interest to seasoned gardeners and beginners, alike, as
Kate Frey introduces you to the eclectic array of unique
plants and garden settings that Healdsburg’s quaint,
less-traveled side streets have to offer.



Kate's fascinating insights and abundant knowledge of
the gardening world will make each tour a memorable
one! In fact, at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show, where
her garden design was one of only 20 “show gardens”
in the world to be featured, Kate incorporated 85 plant
species (6,000 plants) into the sustainable show garden
that she designed for Fetzer Winery.

This year, as in 2005, her sustainable garden design
captured a coveted Royal Horticulturalist Society Gold
Medal, as well as congratulatory visits to the “show
garden” from England's Queen Elizabeth and Prince Andrew.
